UPDATE 7/1 about jersey orders from CVC’s Cruisin’ committee: While the jersey order was placed immediately after Cruisin, the manufacturer needs at least 6 weeks to make them. We don’t expect them for at least another few weeks. As soon as we receive them, we will ship them out.

UPDATE 5/17 with final rider count
Cruisin’ the Conejo set a record in 2009 with nearly 1,300 riders. Thanks to all the riders that took part, and thanks especially to the many individuals and organizations that made the ride a success. The CVC is already thinking about Cruisin’ 2010. If you’d like to get an email reminder when registration opens for next year’s event (probably sometime in January 2010), just click this link. Again, thanks again to everyone involved in this fantastic event!

Also, congratulations to Paula Brandon of Ventura (shown here with CVC grand poobah J.C. Simmons), the winner of the Cannondale bike in this year’s raffle.

Finally, if you lost an item at Cruisin’ this year, check our lost and found listings.

  1. Thanks CVC for putting on a fantastic day of cycling! I had a great time as did the friends I rode with. Special thanks to the Boy Scouts at the rest stops for their help (I believe it was Troop 673). Looking forward to next year!
    Thanks Again,

  2. Thanks CVC for a great Century. Cruisin’ the Conejo is one of the best with a great route, well supported rest stops, great food (love the subs at Pleasant Valley and 101) and friendly people. In addition, it does the entry fee doesn’t take a second mortgage!

    Thanks
