Most of the VBT PA Dutch tour was along quiet

country roads, past family-owned farms and cornfields in various stages

of harvest

Not completely rural in character, the tour also rolled through

the towns of Intercourse and Bird-in-Hand, where we visited the Old Country

Store (where the town scene in the movie 'Witness' was filmed

Turn left or right at the next barn? Navigating was

pretty much a snap thanks to detailed maps and ride instructions

provided to each rider
