The Conejo Valley Cyclists and BSA Troop 753
proudly present their 24th annual Cruisin' the Conejo ride on
Saturday, May 10, 2008 in and around Thousand Oaks, California.
Come cruise the picturesque Conejo Valley in 2008. Cruisin' the
Conejo is the annual late spring ride touring the beautiful Conejo
Valley and its environs. For those who haven't been here, the Conejo
Valley is nestled in the western end of the Santa Monica mountains,
straddling Hwy 101 half way between Los Angeles and Santa Barbara, and
centers on Thousand Oaks. The Conejo is out of traffic and out of the
smog.
This is the twenty-fourth anniversary of this great Southern California
classic. Your hosts, the Conejo Valley Cyclists and the Boy Scouts of
America Troop 753, have maintained the great but very challenging
routes from last year's tour. Don't forget the 68 mile Moderate
Metric Century! This route is a little longer than our Challenging
Metric, but it skips the big climbs into the Santa Monica Mountains.
So put Cruisin' the Conejo on your ride calendar for 2008.
