Conquer the Canyons

Here are some pictures from the Conquer the Canyons stage race. Three of our Saturday red-level rec riders and one from the Sunday group took part in the first timer category. The race was a three-stage race with a time trial, a criterium, and a road race. The race was held on April 22 and 23, 2006. Richard Fortune took 3rd place overall while Mike Brand placed 5th. Steve Berman and Mike Bass placed well in the field of 45 participants. Diana Davis did an outstanding job and placed 13th in the Women's Cat 3+4! Complete results are on the MESP web site.
