About the Ride
As cyclists, our reasons for riding are many: beautiful scenery, managing stress, setting and achieving goals, staying fit, socializing, etc. On May 6th, at the Inaugural CVC Picnic Ride & Benefit, we will add the purpose of giving back to our reasons for riding by donating to the local community and the sport we all love.
To that end we will: Limit ride participation to current CVC members only; plan to minimize the amount of "ride day" support required to provide a greater per rider donation amount; invite all club members to participate in the decision-making process; and keep CVC’s commitment to give back to the local community.

I encourage you to visit each recipient website to learn more about their goals and how they make a difference in our local community. Read on for more details about the ride below. I look forward to seeing all of you on May 6th!
